PROTECTION OF MEMBERS' RIGHTS

In AOGGAB, we believe that every legitimate business should be able to operate in a regulated and predictable environment that is favorable for its development. Therefore, one of our main causes is to defend and stand up the rights of our members, using the entire expert, administrative and legal capacity of the organization to solve any of their issues that arise.

FIGHT AGAINST ILLEGAL GAMBLING

Illegal gambling is a problem all over the world and Bulgaria is not an exception. Carrying out activities under the Gambling Act without the necessary license increases the risks of fraud, does not contribute to increasing the tax revenues of the state and creates a bad image of the gambling sector. This makes it necessary for the management and members of AOGGAB to actively take up this cause by strictly monitoring and helping to reveal illegal gambling, and promptly notify the control authorities.

ADHERENCE TO ETHICAL ADVERTISING RULES

Due to the specific nature of the gaming industry where we work, we are convinced that gambling advertising must be moderate, legal and designed with a sense of responsibility towards society and especially towards its most vulnerable group - children. That is why we in AOGGAB are meticulous in ensuring that the ethical rules for advertising, clearly outlined by the regulations of the Republic of Bulgaria, are observed. We are also actively involved in debates on their upgrading and implementation through all communication channels. Our actions towards self-regulation are also important because they provide consumer protection complementary to the law and are a means whereby we strengthen the reputation of the industry.

A RESPONSIBLE GAME

In AOGGAB, we realise the importance of gambling being only just for fun. Inappropriate and excessive gambling can lead to undesirable risks associated with it; therefore creating a safe environment is our priority. As part of our initiatives to encourage responsible gaming, we raise public awareness, participate in forum discussions, promote socially responsible practices among our members, pay annual fees to the NRA to fund prevention projects, and support non-governmental organisations such as ARZ Solidarity whose activities are aimed at combating addictions.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility to the problems of society is a cause that resonates with the essence of our Association. Since our establishment, we have been involved in various charitable and social projects, driven by a sense of solidarity, mutual aid and a belief that change only happens when we all work together for it. Specific manifestations of the social responsibility of our Association is helping organizations which are fighting addictions, supporting medical and non-governmental associations as well as individuals to alleviate their social difficulties, and supporting the education of children and students.
